Andrea Illán
Andrea Illán is a Spanish photographer based between Paris and Mallorca. After finishing her degree in Fine Arts, she completed her studies in photography at the ICP in New York.
Her photographic work has developed around travel photography transforming everyday scenes into unique moments which at the same time propose an attentive reflection on the transience of the moment. In her photos the exquisite compositions, the attention to light and the delicate use of color to generate emotion stand out - all of which are a legacy of her background in the visual arts.
She has been combining the development of personal projects with her more commercial work, where she applies many of these formal concerns through collaborations with brands such as Zara, The Kooples, Lacoste, Apostrophe, Mango Kids or Sansoeurs among others.
