We do not intend to compete with monster size post-production studios, but creativity does not understand resources because ideas are boundless, and that is the real fuel for SAUVAGE.TV. We believe in freeing up the process of visual creation so our instincts can explode. That makes us wild. When a project has developed like that, it really shows. It hooks you and makes you fall in love... ROAR!
2D: CLASSICS NEVER DIE
Many of us at SAUVAGE.TV are addicted to anime, which has been and still is a true university of traditional animation. We grew up in front of the small screen following the adventures of heroes like Goku and Ramma, and going crazy with Evangelion or Berserk. When we weren't glued to the TV, we were playing some of the most creative video games in history, where the lack of resources made programmers (and players) squeeze their brains out. Somehow we had to use our imagination to make up for the lack of nowadays’ super graphics, right? We firmly believe that this mix has made us able to face any 2D project from a more narrative and, above all, creative perspective. That is our studio’s real keypoint.
3D: THE FUTURE IS OURS
We are in love with traditional animation, but in the past few years we have had the opportunity to do more research on 3D, working with industry leaders. 2019 was a turning point, as we were fortunate enough to join forces with Riot Games to create “Phoenix”, League of Legends’ World Championship official video. Riot and SAUVAGE.TV always demand a top quality level, and that is why it was an incredible experience from the very beginning. Creating the characters, designing the environments to later bring them to life, sculpt them, animate them, illuminate them and, above all, put them on stage. In one word: WOW. Those months developing the 3D film definitely had us fall in love with this technique. Due to this, we are more than ready to achieve a final result that will leave our viewers breathless. 3D is certainly the future, although we cannot conceive it without a powerful traditional animation basis. That is the key for CGI to have a soul.
GRAPHICS: IT RUNS THROUGH OUR VEINS
As you may have seen, graphics and typographies are in our DNA and stand out in everything we do. We are obsessed with illustration, graphic design, comics, and visual arts. We come from the paper generation, we live surrounded by magazines, newspapers, packagings, all fighting to stand out. We also have a divine respect for signs, banners, neons… Because anything that attracts attention fascinates us. We collect stickers, movie posters and sneakers. But what the hell do all these things have in common to drive us so crazy? It’s the taste for design, guys, because "taste" is everything.
CREATIVITY... IS WILD
Be inspired like a poet, create like a craftsman, and finish it like a cyborg. If you were looking for our secret weapon, well, it looks like you found the BIGGEST ONE. Creativity is the heart of SAUVAGE.TV, the driving force that makes us different, that makes us wild. We love crushing the limits to see what's beyond. We cannot conceive facing a job unless we can contribute with our wild ideas. We love to improve all the projects that come to us, especially when that forces us to squeeze out our brains to the maximum. No pain, no gain! Because you can certainly have a video with jaw-dropping Hollywood post-production. But if it fails to arouse something authentic in the viewer, that means nothing to us. That is why we prioritize moving our viewers, whether it be getting them to laugh, cry or in a rage. That is our mission.
OUR TEAM: THE WILD FIERAS
You can have the latest galactic machines in the market, or that magic software that people say works by itself, but the truth is that if you do not have the right team, all of that is useless. We are always on a continuous search for total talent, yet at SAUVAGE.TV we focus not only on the technical skills, but also on the person behind the artist. Being good people makes teamwork more productive. Because we are powerful separately, but together we become an invincible beast... with many heads (imagine it Ray Harryhaunsen style). We are fortunate to have a multidisciplinary team made up of creatives, 3D and 2D artists, designers, screenwriters, editors, illustrators, colorists and producers, among others. This in-house diversity means that we can work closely with all of them, thus managing to realize even the most complex projects in record time and with jaw-dropping quality.
WORKFLOW: TAMING THE BEAST TO MAKE IT INVINCIBLE
Taming the creative beast requires the most powerful workflow. And ours is like a perfect warrior: strong, reliable, smart, versatile and powered by the latest technological advances to make him invincible. At SAUVAGE.TV we offer support for all pipeline steps: 3D modeling, texturing, rigging, look development, FX, animation, rendering, lighting, composition and grading. We work with the highest security standards, which allows us to carry out any project while guaranteeing your privacy and an optimal result. Also, we use the most advanced softwares and workstations on the market to ensure great technical reliability and a simply perfect execution. But machines without human talent are useless. So we do not set limits to our creativity and combine our talented in-house team with other international beasts prepared to work remotely whenever they are needed. Thus, if one day we have to face a zombie apocalypse, we can continue offering the same service from anywhere in the world.
